Try making a to-do list and highlight the urgent tasks.
Ensure that you also make time for yourself-exercise/yoga/hobby. Every day think of
“What did I do for myself today?”
Reflect on a time when you worked or were enrolled in school. Think about - how did
you manage time then? How is your life different now, and what would you need to
change to manage time at work and at home now?
Reflect on a time when you professionally managed time well and the results of this
in a professional setting. What tasks did you prioritize and why? What were the
results?
Step 3: Practice with a Mentor
Discuss both, the matrix and the to-do list, with your mentor.
Your mentor may suggest some changes to the way you have prioritized your tasks.
If you feel the changes will not work for you, discuss the reasons for the same and
then finalise your task list.
Practice describing a time when you professionally managed time well and the
results of this in a professional or education setting. What tasks did you prioritize and
why? What were the results?
